"Works in over 200 countries, like...."

Very cool ad campaign for AT&T! By changing the name of the country in the tag line and using a photograph that represents that country, each ad communicates the message so well. I think this ad campaign works because I don’t even think a tag line is necessary to convey the message. Because a cell phone and the AT&T logo are integrated into each photograph, I get that this is an international ad campaign for AT&T. What I thought was really interesting are the hands. I think everyone can relate to making figures with your hands as a child but they painted the hands to represent each specific country. Hopefully you'll be able to see the detail in the hands if you click on the photo.

  1. Very cool ad campaign for AT&T. The painted hands is a really creative way to show and promote the brand and the idea. It's something you wouldn't think of initially to promote your company working in different countries of the world. Very creative, cool and successful.

  2. I've seen the painted hands before, yet they never cease to amaze me. It's so cool how intricately painted they are. I have much respect for the artist that paints the hands because it looks like a daunting task. It's also so much more visually stimulating than having a boring photograph of the country. It also illustrates how we can find inspiration in just about anything, even something we use constantly without even thinking about it.

  3. These kinds of commercials are always fun to watch. I always amazed by how creative these advertising people are. I have seen hand paintings before, but this is the best. I especially like the deer painting, which they use two hands act as horns.

  4. This ad is eye-catching. I think it’s very successful because the images stay in your mind. The artwork is beautiful. The minute I see one and think it’s my favorite I see the next one and realize how unique and special each one is. It’s a very strong advertisement.
